Our Centers of Excellence

At S P Jain, we strive for excellence, and in our pursuit of delivering the highest quality of educational and managerial training, we have set up within our Centers for Executive Education, a Center for Leadership in Singapore and a Center for Human Resources Management in Dubai.

CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP - SINGAPORE

Located in the Singapore campus, the mission of the Center for Leadership is to be at the forefront of advanced learning in leadership education. With the belief that excellence in leadership is the core of individual and corporate transformation, the Center for Leadership offers programs that explore leading and managing in an Asian business setting. Some of the courses available for open enrolment and for corporate customization include:

Dean: Dr. Dawn Dekle

Prior to becoming Dean of the Center for Leadership, Dr. Dawn Dekle was a leadership expert with McKinsey & Company. She was a pioneer member of the team that launched the McKinsey Center for Asian Leadership, which offers strategic leadership expertise to MNCs in the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining McKinsey & Company, she was an academic, most recently as a faculty member of Singapore Management University (SMU), where she started the Leadership through Mentoring Program and served as Head of the Center for Teaching Excellence. In addition to Executive Education courses for a variety of diverse industries, Dr. Dekle has also delivered lectures on leadership topics at The Indian Institute of Management, The Global Forum on Management Education, The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and The International Conference on Business. Her published work has appeared in various academic journals, including the Leadership and Human Values monograph, "Reinventing the Academy through a Keystone Course on Leadership." She has degrees in Cognitive Psychology (Dartmouth College, Ph.D.) and Law (Stanford University, J.D.), and is a Council Member of the Singapore Institute of International Affairs. She is also a regular commentator and analyst on leadership issues for Channel News Asia.
