Scholarship and Loan Criteria

Applicants must fulfill three of the following criteria in order to apply for a scholarship

• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum of 75% in all years of education – 10th, 12th, and each year of graduation)
• High entrance exam test scores: GMAT, 720 minimum; CAT/SPJAT, 95th percentile minimum.
• Outstanding achievements in other areas including academics, social service, sports, or other extra-curricular activities.
• Graduation from a top-ranked institution.
• Exceptional post-graduate qualification such as Chartered Accountant or other graduate work/certificates.

Applications for scholarship must include the following:

• Detailed Resume.
• Short essay indicating why you think you should be given the scholarship and which are the criteria you think you meet.
• Mark sheets (10th,12th, ALL years of graduation, post graduation - if applicable)
• CAT/GMAT score sheet
• Certificates pertaining to outstanding achievements in the areas of academics, sports, social service or extracurricular.
• Appointment letter or work experience certificate from current employer.
• Recent salary slips, IT returns (of self and parents) to indicate financial need.

• Indian Participants need to send a Mumbai encashable DD for R 500/- in the name of "S P JAIN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH, MUMBAI"
• Foreign Participants may make out a payment for USD 20/- in the name of "S P JAIN EDUCATION FZ LLC" payable at Dubai. This is a processing fee.
• Foreign Participants making payment at our Singapore Campus need to make a payment for USD 20/- in cash. This is a processing fee.
• Applications received with any one of the above missing will be treated as incomplete and will be disqualified. The amount of the scholarship will be determined on the merits of each case.
• Applications must reach us by March 15, 2012 Any applications received post the close of working hours of March 15, 2012 will not be entertained.
• The status of your application post screening will be advised individually via email no later than March 25, 2012. We would appreciate if Participants would kindly refrain from contacting us in the interim period.

• Participants who meet 3 of the above 5 criteria will not automatically be awarded a scholarship. This only means that they are eligible to apply for a scholarship..
• Scholarship decisions will be announced after or very close to the final fee payment deadline. Applicants will have to pay the complete fees by the final deadline. Those awarded scholarships will have any excess payment received credited to their account.
