The average salaries have gone up by an impressive 18.04% (from INR 1.33 million to INR 1.57 million) in the last 12 months. In dollar terms the salaries have increased by 4%, despite the depreciation of the INR by 14% over the last 12 months.
The average salary for those who have accepted jobs in India has moved up from INR 1.06 million to INR 1.27 million, an increase of 19.8% in the last 12 months.
The new Consulting Stream had its first cohort of graduates and the stream got off to a great start. The average salary for this stream is INR 1.78 million ($35,648). PWC Consulting Singapore, Mediacom (Singapore), Dun & Bradstreet (Middle East), Genpact consulting (India), Cognizant consulting (India) are some of the companies that have recruited from this stream.
