What we are looking for

  • The Global MBA is designed for participants who have 3 or more years of full-time work experience. This being a post-graduate program, you must already be a university graduate to apply. Preference is also given those with additional relevant post-graduate qualifications.
  • S P Jain requires aptitude test scores, usually the GMAT or CAT. If you have not taken either and are not planning to, you must take an aptitude test conducted by S P Jain (SPJAT). Even if you have taken the GMAT or CAT exam, you may also take the SPJAT. We accept the best score. Though we consider the overall profile of the candidate, it is rare for us to admit participants with a GMAT of less than 650 or CAT of less than 80 percentile or SPJAT of less than 75 percentile.
  • As the S P Jain aptitude test is an internal exam and one of several criteria used to evaluate a participant for admission into the GMBA program, we would not be declaring the marks obtained by a participant. An email informing participants whether their score meets with S P Jain's requirements or not will be sent.
  • You may apply even if you have not yet taken the aptitude test or your scores are pending. However, you will not be shortlisted for evaluation until you have final test scores.
  • You only need to submit one application, but you may apply for 2 specializations with a single application. The candidate is evaluated with reference to the stream(s) applied for.
  • Admission is offered for only one specialization, and we cannot grant changes to the offer. Duplication of applications may lead to a form/admission being disqualified.
  • A small percentage of applicants come from a family business who desire to initiate an entrepreneurial venture, or from employees taking a leave of absence from their present employers (with a commitment to rejoin them). The eligibility criteria for admission remains the same for these candidates. Such candidates are not part of our placement services. If you do NOT desire placement services, tick the relevant box in the application form. However, once admitted as “non-placement,” the candidate may NOT change to “placement” later on.
  • It is very important for all candidates to carefully read through the entire catalogue of our Global MBA April 2012 program. Please note that it is a compulsory residential program conducted jointly in Dubai and Singapore. We also highlight that it is a very intensive and rigorous program.
  • Candidates should also read through the FAQ Section on the website for further clarifications. Please read the procedures carefully and follow the steps. You may call us if any instructions are not clear, or if you have a unique issue.
