S P Jain offers participants contemporary facilities and comfortable accommodations – important ingredients for a positive learning experience. Our grounds and facilities are well-maintained and monitored 24 hours a day.
At S P Jain, classrooms are designed like auditoriums, with step-up seating to facilitate discussions, and state-of-the-art equipment like dual-screen projectors, computers, desk microphones, and high-tech audio/video equipment. Most sessions are recorded for future reference and review. Our campuses also feature excellent videoconferencing technology for hosting interactive guest-talks with international faculty and industry heads around the globe.
The library is modern, computerized and is the heart of all academic activities. Apart from conventional books, periodicals, magazines, newspapers and journals, the library has a range of materials catering to various learning needs and preferences. The library boasts of an e-library with resources that include databases, online journals, and newswires. Well-established management databases are an integral part of the S P Jain library.
The campuses boast a wireless LAN system that is accessible from any part of the campus. There are also 100-plus wired ports. An advanced intranet, incorporating the Blackboard Learning System enhances the learning experience and serves as a medium of communication between the staff, faculty, and participants.
All participants are required to have wireless-enabled laptops, which facilitate learning and allow them to download online case studies, access faculty course materials, take online quizzes, and submit assignments online.
The IT center services the IT needs of the campus and maintains our servers, firewalls, laptops and desktops, network printers, scanners, projectors, videoconferencing facility, and other networking peripherals, thereby enabling a robust, reliable, and secure information technology structure.
The IT center provides limited assistance to students. Comprehensive service is available through local computer support companies.
The campus also has specialist learning areas with videoconferencing, recording and playback facilities, and computer terminals. A simulated trading floor has been developed for courses in which stock trading is a major component.
Participants use the Leadership Hall, a multi-functional area, during their study time. It is also used for group work, hosting guest lectures, campus events and functions, and as a general networking area. Every day, following the classroom sessions, participants gather in the Leadership Hall to complete their assignments. The hall also serves as a place for participants to relax and unwind.
Participants live in accommodation facilities provided by the institute. Here they benefit from group interaction and collective learning.In Dubai, participants share accommodations in self-contained apartments at the International City. The institute provides a shuttle bus service between the accommodation and the campus.In Singapore, accommodation is also shared, but on-campus, dormitory style.
