The World Education Summit Awards is aimed at felicitating and acknowledging unique and innovative initiatives in the field of education globally. The awards were given away during the World Education Summit (WES) held at New Delhi between 13th and 15th July 2011. The event was organized by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in association with Center for Science Development (CSDMS) and Media Studies (CSDMS) and Elets Technomedia.
S P Jain School of Global Management won the Best Public Choice Award for Higher Education Institute to Provide Global Student Exposure. S P Jain has a unique multi campus model of exposing students to Dubai and Singapore. Next year it adds on a new campus in Sydney. The event was graced by the presence of some eminent speakers. Mr Kapil Sibal, Union Minister for Human Resource and Development (HRD) and Information Technology, one of the key speakers at the event, emphasized on students mobility from one university to the other mid-session and how the Public Private Partnership (PPP) would boost reforms in the education system.

Not very long ago, the Financial Times, UK had ranked S P Jain's Global MBA 68th in the World and 9th in Asia; and the award at WES 2011 only adds more to S P Jain's credibility of being a Global Business School.
