Industry Advisory Panel
External Examiners

The Academic Board is the supreme body that is responsible for the quality, delivery and all policies concerning academics. The Board has constituted various sub-committees that assist it for smoother functioning.

Given S P Jain’s unique three campus model, uniform policies across all three campuses is a key role of the Board. The Board has also appointed External Examiners from leading B-Schools to benchmark the curriculum with top B-Schools worldwide. Further, an Industry Advisory Panel constituted of leading industry professionals is also in place to review the courses on offer, the method of delivery and makes suggestions on the latest industry and corporate trends and their requirements.

The Board is chaired by a distinguished Australia scholar, Dr. Peter Drake, Professor Emeritus of the University of New England and the Australian Catholic University. He was the founding Vice-Chancellor of the Australian Catholic University.

Other independent members are:

• Dr Mark Farrell, Acting Head of School, Australian Graduate School of Policing, Manly Campus and Associate Dean, (Research and Marketing), Faculty of Arts, Australia
• Dr Indu Shahani, Advisor IB India and former Vice Chair, Board of Governors, International Baccalaureate and Dean H R College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai – India
  

The President, Deans and Associate Deans and Heads of Campuses are also a part of the Academic Board.
